All my Black and White images are produced using the finest quality fibre based silver gelatine photographic papers.
All photographs are produced using the highest standards of archival print making and all photographs are toned to further improve their archival qualities.
Toned Fibre based photographic papers have extremely long archival qualities, usually well over one hundred years.
My black and white prints are made from negatives exposed and developed using the same methodology practiced for the past 100 years. The prints are accurate renditions of the scene as I observed it, there is not and cannot be any digital enhancements or manipulation as the photograph is produced from negative direct to bromide paper.
The vast majority of my colour work has been photographed using colour slide film. As the slides have to be scanned to allow imaging onto a paper base they go through a digitising process. At this stage images have dust and other blemishes removed and in some cases contrast is either increased or decreased depending on the nature of the paper the photograph is going to be reproduced on. I do not digitally manipulate my images beyond this, as I feel it very important that my vision at the time of taking the photograph is faithfully reproduced.
My colour images are reproduced using Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper a paper known for its long archival qualities and colour fastness.
